"Support the pink pound" is a web site which aims to put the gay community in touch with gay service providers.

LGBT people in the UK have expressed that they would prefer to place their business with LGBT companies as long as they provide a great service. In doing so, we are keeping our hard earned money amongst our community and therefore creating jobs and opportunities for LGBT people. This web site also allows individuals to provide feed back on the companies they use, therefore keeping an element of quality control. Companies offering their services will be aware that they are being monitored and more likely to provide a first class service. Also, anyone who is dissatisfied with the service can make a formal complaint through the site and any companies who receive constant bad ratings will be removed from the site.
